Lisa Harouni is in the vanguard of a wave of entrepreneurs who want to make it easy for anyone to design and create bespoke products at the click of a button. "I believe it's going to cause a revolution," said Harouni, speaking on stage at Wired 2011 in London this afternoon. "3D printers have been around for 25 years, but they're only now coming into the public arena?" Why? "Put your hand up if you know how to use a CAD package," Harouni asks the audience. A few brave hands go up, but most of the audience look like they're not entirely sure what CAD even stands for. "That's why. If I gave you a 3D printer, you wouldn't be able to use it."
